BOTH NIGHTS SOLD OUT 24 and 25 March - 2 performances of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler performed by Bangkok Rising - a thought provoking and highly controversial theatre production about women & girls around the globe. You will laugh, you will cry, oooh and aaah. Doors open at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm.
Checkinn99 will screen Elephant King - an award winning Thai film produced by Tom Waller. The film itself is a beautifully shot, credible hard-hitting story, with lush, gorgeous scenes of both rural & urban Thailand. An artfully crafted drama that explores the lives of two quite different brothers in an unfamiliar locale as they binge on drink, drugs, and women in exotic Thailand. Falling in love with the same bargirl the brothers relationship spirals out of control to a dramatic conclusion. An all too familiar situation that will strike home to many. Tickets 250Baht includes a welcome drink and free popcorn. 6.30pm please for a 7pm start.
You are invited to a Thai Village Festival this Saturday Night 30 Jan 8pm till late. As a thank-you to all our customers we have organised a great night of fun, games, dancing - Thai village style, side-show games..prizes.. lucky draw. Come dressed in 60s retro discos theme. Over the top decorations and games Dont be disappointed if your darts are blunt and cant burst the balloons, skittles will be glued to the back board its part of the fun but everyone wins. 300 Baht entry includes a welcome drink and entry in the lucky draw. (for a la carte dinner bookings are recommended)
Checkinn99 will screen Mindfulness & Murder - an award winning Thai film hosted by producer / director Tom Waller. An ex-cop Buddhist monk investigates a murder in his monastery in Bangkok. Another powerful masterpiece where homeless youth is murdered in the grounds of a Buddhist monastery in Bangkok, the Police do little to investigate, leaving Father Ananda - a former homicide detective - to try and solve the crime. With the help of an orphaned boy named Jak, Ananda travels the canals of the city to unravel the clues and catch the killer. Tickets 250Baht includes a welcome drink and free popcorn. 6.30pm please for a 7pm start.
Biggest Party of the Year....we will have a few surprises for you but otherwise its full on entertainment from Music of the Heart Band. Join the countdown to the New Year.. we will not be planning to close early. We will have very limited reserved seating... so book early.
